Saskatoon Pilates Studio
Saskatoon Pilates Centre was the original Pilates studio in Saskatchewan. We have been in operation for over 20 years. The center is a proud member of the Pilates Method Alliance. The PMA (R) is the international, not-for-profit, professional association that oversees certification and continuing education standards for Pilates professionals. All of our Saskatoon Pilates studio instructors hold internationally recognized certification.
In 2012, we were excited to relocate to a new facility in the All Saints Anglican Church Hall where we now enjoy a large Pilates equipment studio. We also have a large mat and TRX studio that has a high cathedral ceiling. An additional smaller training studio allows for smaller group or individual training. There are 3 washrooms, client waiting area and a beautiful sunlit foyer. Saskatoon Pilates is an inviting place of warmth, nurturing, and healing.
All of our Pilates instructors hold certification from Saskatoon Pilates Centre, Core Dynamics, Pilates Core integration, Balanced Body, and the Physicalmind Institute, of New York and Canada. Their goal is to provide students and clients with the best knowledge and experience possible.

Meet Pilates Instructor Seasonn! She is a trained Comprehensive Pilates teacher and also teaches a class called Yamuna Body Rolling.
Seasonn has been involved with Pilates for 4 years and loves sharing how your body can move in the most efficient way possible.
She is married with two wonderful children and brings her strong mothering skills to all her clients.
Meet Michelle Forand! Michelle has been teaching Pilates since 2016 and Block Release since 2018. She first discovered Pilates in 2014. Not really knowing what Pilates was (true!), she was instinctively drawn to find out more about this form of movement based on what she had heard about it. Within her first 10 classes she started to feel amazing changes happening in her body. She knew that she wanted to share Pilates with others so decided to become an Instructor. Michelle is certified in Mat Pilates from Balanced Body. Soon after her Pilates’ certification she pursued certification in the Block Therapy system of fascial release, based on the work of Deanna Hansen, an Athletic Therapist based in Winnipeg, MB. She is also certified in Bodhi (Balanced Body) which is a form of suspension training similar to TRX. Michelle believes in ongoing education to be able to offer a variety classes to her clients. She is planning to pursue certification in Core Dynamics Pilates and in Aging Backwards (Essentrics), a system of dynamic stretching and strengthening developed by Miranda Esmonde-White. Michelle is a mom to a wonderful 26 yr old daughter and has been married to her husband for 30 years. She loves to garden, have coffee dates, and travel around the world. Her favorite Joseph Pilates quote is “Every moment of our life can be the beginning of great things’.
Hi I am Krissy! I grew up on a farm by Blackstrap Lake & now live in the city with my husband, 3yr old daughter and our King Charles spaniel. I absolutely love the outdoors, cross country skiing, camping in my ‘Glamper’ & hiking. I currently work in the healthcare sector and have a background as a paramedic and occupational health and safety.
I am a Mat Pilates Instructor and a Block Release Instructor. I got my Pilates Mat certification because I fell in love with the body treatment aspect of Pilates. I’ve experienced, first hand, how Pilates can change your body. It has definitely improved my lower back pain!
I was introduced to Block by my friend Michelle, and after taking classes for about a year and hearing from others how much it helped them, I knew I needed to add these techniques to my teaching. Block Release is a class where we do a variety of positions on a cedar block. We hold these positions for 3-5 min for deep myofascial release in the body. This deep tissue release practice allows our body to self-heal. You become more correctly aligned, gain more mobility in muscles and joints, and find relief of chronic aches and pains. It’s also an amazing tool for scar tissue work and overall stress release.
We are here to assist you as we have done for years, with your goals of fitness and functional daily movement patterns ,O
